Frequently Asked Questions
Will using a remanufactured cartridge void my printer’s warranty? |
No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prohibits the manufacturer of the printer you are using from voiding the warranty because you used a refilled or remanufactured cartridge. |
How many times can you refill my cartridge? |
Typically most black ink cartridges can be refilled 5 or 6 times. However, the number of times your cartridge can be refilled will be dependant on the type of cartridge and how carefully you handled it. |
I used to try to refill my cartridges with a refill kit I purchased. Is this the same thing? |
No. Penn-Mar INK uses state of the art equipment so that we can assure quality. Our high tech machines are nothing like the old refill kits. |

All of our products are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. |
Will my cartridge be filled with as much ink as a new cartridge? |
Yes. Each cartridge is weighed based on the original manufacturer's specifications. Penn-Mar INK assures each cartridge will be filled at that level or higher. |
A pop-up message appeared before printing stating that my remanufactured cartridge is empty. What should I do? |
Continue to print as usual. Your cartridge has been properly weighed and tested to ensure that it is at the recommended OEM ink level for a new cartridge. This message generally occurs because of the manufacturer’s software which is designed to do this. With some printers, it is possible to prevent this from occurring by ignoring requests to update your printer software. |
